
The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) has been abolished, and a statutory London Fire Commissioner (LFC) established. The new legislation has given the Mayor the power to establish a new Deputy Mayor for Fire and obliged the London Assembly to establish a new scrutiny committee.
The London Assembly Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee meets for the first time tomorrow. The guests are:
