Tomorrow's Mayor's Question Time will begin with a minute's silence for the victims of the Paris attacks.
The London Assembly[2] has five more opportunities to question Mayor Boris Johnson before his Mayoral term ends. Tomorrow Assembly Members will ask him about:
- Increasing cycling in London
- The impact of the junior doctors’ contract
- Advertising on police patrol cars
- The Paris Climate Change Summit
The Assembly questions the Mayor, in public, ten times a year at Mayor’s Question Time (MQT) meetings, as part of its role of holding him to account[3].
The role of the Assembly is to act as a check and balance on the activities of the Mayor.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 18 November from 10:00am in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.
