London Government goes East?

On 24 June 2020, the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the start of a six-week consultation, of all staff regarding a proposed relocation of City Hall, to the Crystal in the Royal Docks.

On Tuesday, 21st July 2020 at 11am, the GLA Oversight Committee will question Greater London Authority (GLA) officials on the proposed plans to move from City Hall to the Crystal Building in the Royal Docks.



The guests are:

  • Mary Harpley, Chief Officer, GLA
  • Simon Grinter, Head of Facilities Management, GLA
  • David Gallie, Executive Director of Resources, GLA
  • Rickardo Hyatt, Assistant Director – Housing, GLA


In line with government advice, this meeting will take place virtually
