Deal, or no deal, what will be the impact of Brexit on the status of EU nationals living in London?
Tomorrow, the London Assembly EU Exit Working Group will discuss:
- The status of EU nationals already living in the UK post 29 March – assuming the Withdrawal Agreement is approved
- In the longer term: a new immigration system for EU nationals wanting to work in London
- The status of EU nationals already living in London – if there is “no-deal”
- The impact of Brexit on community cohesion
- The role of the Mayor and local authorities in supporting EU citizens to claim Settled Status.
