The London Assembly begins its annual scrutiny of the Mayor’s 2018-19 budget by examining the implications for:

Transport for London (TfL)

London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC)

Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC)

Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC)

London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA)

*The Committee will follow this up by questioning the Mayor on Tuesday 9 January

Mayor’s Budget 2018-19 - the LLDC and TfL

Budget and Performance Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

In the first of three meetings to examine the 2018/19 budget this week, the London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will examine how the Mayor will fund TfL and London’s transport services in light of falling passenger numbers and the future of the LLDC now that he is taking control of the London Stadium.

Mayor’s Budget 2018-19 - the OPDC and the Met

Budget and Performance Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

The London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will examine the Mayor’s decision to increase council tax to help fund the Met Police in the second of three meetings to examine the Mayor’s 2018/19 budget. Questions will also be put to representatives from the OPDC on its plans to deliver new homes and jobs in West London.

In the last of three scrutiny meetings this week, the London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee will examine the Mayor’s decision to increase council tax to provide extra funding to London’s fire service.
