The BAME Donor survey

Health Committee

The Health Committee publishes a survey and report looking into the attitudes of Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Londoners to organ donation. NHS figures show 62% of all Londoners waiting for a transplant are either Black or Asian. However, of the BAME Londoners surveyed only 1% are on the organ donor register.
