The Confirmation Hearings Committeewill put questions to the Mayor’s proposed appointee, Heidi Alexander, to the office of Deputy Chair of Transport for London. The Committee will decide on its recommendation to the Mayor whether or not the nominee should be appointed.

Young Londoners Fund

Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee – 2:00pm in Committee Room 5

The Budget Monitoring Sub-Committee will examineuse of the Land Fund set up to allow the GLA to purchase land for development, thereby speeding up housebuilding in the capital and increasing the share of new affordable homes. The guests are:

  • Rickardo Hyatt, Senior Area Manager, Housing & Land, GLA.

Then members will examine thegrants allocated to the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) through the Young Londoners Fund and how it has been used to achieve the aims of the London Knife Crime Strategy. The guests are:
