Air pollution

Environment Committee



The Environment Committee will publish its report into air pollution in the capital and what the Mayor of London should be doing, particularly when it comes to transport, in order to promote cleaner air for all Londoners.



This report will be launched at Trafalgar Square with the following interviewees:

GLA Procurement

GLA Oversight Committee

The GLA Group spends around £10 billion on its procurement activities every year.

The GLA Oversight Committee has investigated GLA procurement practices, focusing particularly on: Silvertown Tunnel, the Garden Bridge, Bond Street Crossrail station, Royal Albert Docks, Silvertown Quays and East Bank.

The Committee will publish a report which considers the current procurement processes in place for the GLA Group, with regards to the selection process of providers, value for money and broader issues of accountability, auditing and transparency.
