Access to Public Toilets

Health Committee – 10am

Public toilets are a vital service for Londoners and tourists. However, there is an overall decline in the provision of public toilets provided by local authorities across the UK and questions on how to improve access, information and signposting, while increasing supply, are overlooked and remain largely unanswered.

The Health Committee will meet to discuss public toilets in London. The guests are:

  • Karen Hoe, Changing Places Manager
  • Ruth Wakeman, Director of Services, Policy and Evidence, Crohn’s and Colitis UK
  • Raymond Martin, Managing Director, British Toilet Association
  • Mark Evers, Chief Customer Officer, Transport for London
  • Councillor Julia Neden-Watts, Chair of the Environment, Sustainability, Culture & Sport Committee, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
