The Regeneration Committee will discuss whether the Mayor has delivered on outcomes for the first year of the London Borough of Culture programme and whether this was on time and to budget.

Plenary – Mayor’s Draft Consolidated Budget

London Assembly – 10:00am in The Chamber

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, will present his Draft Consolidated Budget for 2020/21 to London Assembly Members.

The Draft Budget includes the following component budgets:

  • Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (including the Metropolitan Police Service budget)
  • Transport for London
  • London Fire Commission
  • London Legacy Development Corporation
  • Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation
  • Greater London Authority: Mayor of London and London Assembly

After questioning the Mayor, the Assembly will consider the Mayor’s draft Consolidated budget and whether to approve it, with or without amendment. Amendments are subject to securing the support of a simple majority of the Assembly Members present and voting. This is the first of a two-stage budget-setting process and the Assembly is due to make a final decision on the budget at the London Assembly (Mayor’s Question Time) meeting on Monday 24 February 2020.

London Fire Brigade - Training

Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee – 10:00am in The Chamber

The Fire, Resilience and Emergency Planning Committee will examine the London Fire Bridge’s current training programme following criticism in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 1 Report, Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue (HMICFRS) report and the previous London Fire Commissioner’s independent review of training.
