Confirmation Hearings Committee - 10:00am in Committee Room 3
The Confirmation Hearings Committee will put questions to the Mayor’s proposed appointees to the office of Chair of the London Legacy Development Corporation and Deputy Chair of the London Pensions Fund Authority.
It will then make a decision on its recommendations to the Mayor as to whether or not the nominees should be appointed to those offices.

The emergency services in London are replacing their previous Airwave communications system with a new way of communicating based on mobile phone technology. The GLA Oversight Committee will examine the risks associated with this transition. The guests are:

The Budget and Performance Committee will question police representatives on the Met’s capacity to keep Londoners safe while attempting to save £400 million by 2020-21.

European Voices: EU Londoners Speak – open mic event
EU Exit Working Group - 3:30pm-5:30pm in The Chamber
On June 26, the Government published its proposals for safeguarding the position of EU Citizens living in the UK.
- How do EU citizens in London feel about those proposals?
- Has the situation changed for EU citizens in London since the referendum?
- Is information easy to access?
- What kind of practical support is now needed?
The EU Exit Working Group will hear from invited EU citizens living in London, and the organisations supporting them, about their concerns regarding the UK exiting the EU.
Speakers on the panel who will set the scene are:
