Summary of request
1. Please state the total number of applications made to the Home Secretary by MOPAC
for a police officer pension forfeiture certificate since 1 January 2018.
2. For each application, please state the following information:
a) The name of the Police Force the officer in question worked for
b) The officer in question’s length of service and level of seniority
c) The offence(s) committed by the relevant officer, the date(s) of conviction and any
sentence(s) imposed
d) The decision made by the Home Secretary (i.e. certificate issued/denied/pending) –
e) If issued, whether MOPAC proceeded with forfeiture and, if so, to what extent the
pension was fortified and for what duration
f) If issued, whether the decision was appealed by the officer in question and, if so, the
outcome of that appeal -
