In 2017, we published the 'Understanding London's Markets' report. This research helped us understand the social and economic value of markets, and their contributions to local areas. Alongside the report, we produced a toolkit to support people working in the sector.

Tomorrow's Market was established to support market operators develop place-specific strategies and business incubation models that address the impact of the pandemic and link markets with wider high street recovery plans.
Through engagement, seminars and one-to-one support, the programme produced a good practice guide that sets out how to understand your market through research and engagement and how to create a targeted market strategy. The guide is illustrated by tools, resources, and best practice case studies from across London's markets.
