I note that the consultation exercise Transport for London (TfL) carried out was mainly through Londoners and non-Londoners registered on the website and who could receive emails.
Could I have the following breakdowns on the consultation:
- How many Londoners were consulted via email and the number and percentage who responded?
- What are the age groups of Londoners that responded in the following categories? 18-29, 30- 39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79.
- What percentage of Londoners outside central London responded by email, letters, phone calls etc? There are many over 50s who did not get the consultation via website, email, letter or phone calls.
Our response
TfL ran a public consultation on proposals to expand the ULEZ London-wide from 20 May to 29 July 2022.
TfL’s Report to the Mayor on the consultation includes information about the consultation process (Section 3) and a breakdown of the respondents (Section 4). Appendix B provides the marketing materials and consultation survey used.
