I would like the record of the mayors, politicians and royals payments for the use of their
vehicles in London. If they do not pay, why not?
Our response
To maintain the air quality benefits of the scheme, there are limited exemptions from the ULEZ for drivers of non-compliant vehicles.
The Mayor, other politicians and members of the royal family using non-compliant vehicles are not exempt from the ULEZ unless they are eligible for one of the exemptions listed above, for example, because they have a vehicle registered under the disabled vehicle tax
class.
The GLA does not hold any information on payments of the ULEZ charge by politicians or
members of the royal family who may be driving non-compliant vehicles in the zone.
