Created on
22 July 2014

This meeting took place on 23 July 2014. Read the transcript here.

How are the salaries of senior staff in the Greater London Authority (GLA) Group set? Why do Transport for London top brass get performance bonuses, while senior staff at the London Legacy Development Corporation don’t?

The London Assembly GLA Oversight Committee will tomorrow examine pay policy for senior staff in the GLA Group, including staff in City Hall, Transport for London (TfL) and the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).

The following guests will be questioned about how pay rates are set, how and why bonuses are awarded and payoffs for departing staff.

  • Jeff Jacobs – GLA Head of Paid Service
  • Daniel Moylan – Vice-Chair, TfL Remuneration Committee
  • Neale Coleman – Deputy Chairman, LLDC Chairman’s Committee (formerly Chair of the LLDC Resources and Remuneration Committee)
  • Bill Cockburn – former Chair of the Senior Salaries Review Body
  • David Pyper – Associate Director, Hay Group

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, 23 July from 2:30pm in The Chamber at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).

Media and members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.
