Age: Volunteers should be 16 years old and above+

What will I be doing?

  • The volunteer will support with teaching of the music sessions. They will also have have an opportunity to run a couple of sessions themselves should the feel confident.
  • They will help with marketing for the programme/ work on social media and recruitment efforts to get to get young people to attend.
  • They will register young people at the start of each class and keep track track of numbers.

What impact will this have?

  • They will support the tutor with sessions. They will help young people taking part in sessions, as well as keep an eye out for young people that need extra support such as mentoring/ advice and guidance.
  • They will be responsible for a lot of the admin work, including taking registers so that the tutor has more free time for session planning and teaching.
  • They will help with marketing and recruiting for the project. They will have access to our instagram account, and be responsible for spreading the word about the project to the local community.

Commitment

  • They will need to attend sessions that run every Thursday from 3:30- 5:30pm.
  • They will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Guitar/ Music class, helping with recruitment for the classes/ registering young people and help with promotion of the classes.
