Commitment

  • Part-time role built around the needs of volunteers and the charity.
  • Online training of core sessions for up to 4 hours per week. Other online sessions may be arranged if the crew wants them. One weekend of intensive professional standard camera training and shooting films.

What else do I need to know?

  • Be prepared for great team working.
  • Are you ready for some interesting ideas.
  • You will be credited for every film or video you help make.
  • Find out more about the media world and see if it's for you.
  • No skills required just a give it go attitude would be great.
  • We operate a COVID-Secure Centre and ask all volunteers to provide evidence of, or take, a Negative Lateral Flow Test before entering the building for face-to-face training. Test kits will be provided. Please note: most of the work is still online.

Expenses

  • We can provide some travel expenses to location shoots, only when these are possible given Covid safety.
