What will I be doing?

  • Setting the strategy of the charity and determining its policies.
  • Ensuring that the overall health and good name of the charity are maintained.
  • Approving grants to be made by the charity.

What impact will this have?

  • We are just starting out, very much venturing into the unknown, so we need an adventurous and energetic person to help drive the charity forward, to adapt to changing opportunities and circumstances.
  • You will firstly make sure that all activities remain within the bounds set by our objects.
  • You will also be pushing forward the strategy, looking for more adventurous ways in which it can fulfil our objects
  • You will also be setting the policies that support the pursuit of the objects.
  • You will also be appraising management to make sure that they have fulfilled the strategy.
  • In this way you will be helping take the charity from its humble beginnings towards achieving its considerable ambitions.
