How we deliver these aims

The Heath Robinson Museum is open to the public Thursday - Sunday, with schools and group visits on other days. Withing West House is a cafe and Dental Surgery with space on the first floor which can be rented for events. The Shrine & Pinner Books of Remembrance are on display in the Quiet Room for viewing by the public. We have a thriving programme of events linked to the work of the museum which encourages participation from a wide range of people. Tours of the galleries can be made on request and our collection is regularly lent to external exhibitions.

Who benefits from our work

The museum is open to the general public and to schools who can all benefit from learning about art, illustration, science and of course Heath Robinson himself. The museum is nearly entirely run by volunteers, whose motivations can range from social aspects to building skills for their careers. The West House and Heath Robinson Museum also work as a community hub with local residents able to benefit from West House's services, and events and workshops run by the museum all on one site.
