The Kids Network is looking for committed, fun and passionate volunteers who live in or around White City and Shepherd's Bush to make a difference to the children of London. We are especially looking for male Bangladeshi volunteers to become mentors. Our structured mentoring programme supports 8 -11 year old's, based in White City and Shepherd's Bush, to support with their social and emotional development before they transition into secondary school.

The role will include calling a befriendee once a week and chatting with them. This requires being able to listen, to take interest in the client's life and being caring and open to various topics of discussion. Conversations can last from 20 minutes to an hour, and can happen as frequently as you would like. The minimum would be an hour every other week.
