This role could be a fun introduction for someone looking to work in the Charity Sector. We will take into account your interests, skills, and length of time that you are available to volunteer with us. We would like you to help in:
Answering the phone and buzzing clients in when they arrive. Welcoming clients to the Centre, asking what help they need and responding appropriately e.g. booking appointments or signposting to external service. Assisting with the collection of mail.
The role of volunteers in supporting families is to provide flexible practical and social support to
children, young people and families, to spend time being there in whatever way can help most
The volunteer would offer counselling support sessions to young people in the Tower Hamlets community, experiencing mental health issues, that cannot afford support
The team of Garden Stewards have a welcoming and way finding role in the garden. They also ensure that the garden is being treated respectfully by our visitors.
And ensure the garden is tidy
