We have been fortunate to receive funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to embark on a 5 year project conserve our Grade I listed Jacobean Manor House. The House was built in 1623 and still retains features from this period, most notably the incredibly fine plasterwork ceiling in the Great Hall. The upper landing is papered with 18th century wallpaper, thought to be the oldest in England.
