The Big Bang Fairs is a national programme run by Engineering UK with funding from government and industry. In addition to a national event held in March, there are 11 regional programmes which each year inspire over 150,000 students, engaging them with the potential of a career in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). During 2018, The Big Bang London saw over 22,000 students from 190 schools engage with STEM, exploring the research, products, organizations and industry that are shaping the future of STEM and the world they will work in.
