Support gardening session leaders to deliver inclusive gardening workshops alongside SHP clients. All sessions are supervised by at least one member of SHP staff. Sessions typically run between 2 and 3 hours, and will involve a range of tasks such as watering, weeding, seed sowing, some heavy duty physical activities (such as digging, lawn mowing), harvesting produce. You will be supporting participants with a range of knowledge and abilities to carry out these activities You will be working alongside SHP clients who may have a range of support needs such as drug or alcohol dependence or use, mental health needs, access needs, learning disabilities and physical disabilities, and language barriers. Your role is to facilitate their engagement and enjoyment of the garden space.
