What will I be doing?

  • Researching, editing and publishing our quarterly newsletter, using MailChimp, and distributing electronically and in paper format.
  • Writing articles as needed.
  • Gathering and choosing images for inclusion.
  • Liaising with voluntary and community groups, the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and other agencies to source articles and to ensure the newsletter covers all relevant information.

What impact will this have?

  • We produce the newsletter to share information and maintain our visibility with our stakeholders and the wider community in Hillingdon.
  • You compelling articles and excellent editorial skills will help to increase our newsletter readership.
  • Our newsletter enable us to disseminate important information pertaining to health and social care.

Commitment

  • We ask the volunteers commit for a minimum of 4 hours per week
  • We ask that volunteers commit for a minimum of 6 months.

  • We reimburse reasonable out-of-pocket lunch and travel expenses.
