What will I be doing?

  • LiveSmart schemes provide affordable, comfortable and secure housing for the over-50s. Our purpose is to enhance the lives of the people we work with. Volunteers run activities that promote happiness, health, inclusion and independence.

As a Music and Singing Volunteer you will be facilitating a regular music session to promote the well being of residents. Activities could include singing along, karaoke, or music lessons.
The volunteer will be involved in:
  • Building up a relationship with Older People and gather feedback on the types of musical activities they would like to attend
  • Facilitating any agreed singing and music activities such as singing classes, karaoke, music reminiscence sessions, or making basic music instruments.
  • Promoting the activity to increase the numbers of people participating
