What will I be doing?

  • Volunteer Crewmates work one-to-one with our Young Pirates, aged 9-12, supporting them to develop their literacy, confidence and perseverance at our after school sessions.

  • During these sessions volunteers support our Young Pirates to spend time reading, writing, and most importantly playing games.

  • We use each term to work on a writing project that sees the children become published authors, have a short film shown at the local cinema and a summer audio project where they visit a recording studio!
