What will I be doing?

  • This role could be a fun introduction for someone looking to work in the Charity Sector. We will take into account your interests, skills, and length of time that you are available to volunteer with us. We would like you to help in:
  • Identifying available grants and awards related to United Way UK’s work.
  • Help in writing grants and awards applications (each application should be tailored to the specifications of the awarding body).
  • Provide support in the organisation of fundraising
    events.
  • Bring your ideas and enthusiasm for volunteering.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as directed.

Commitment

  • This is a flexible role and the times can match your schedule. We would ideally like for you to be able to commit a minimum of 2 hours a week.

     Preferably has prior experience with grant applications
  • While we expect that you will be using your existing skills in research and analysis, we are happy to assist in any way necessary and understand that you will be learning on the job.
