What will I be doing?

  • Work in a team of volunteers to deliver youth programme to young people aged 14-18
  • Develop relationships with young people, supporting them to take part in activities.
  • Any other tasks, agreed with the volunteer manager. This is a development role and volunteers are able to shape their involvement to meet their needs.

Commitment

  • Meetings are once per week during term time and run for 2 hours.

    Regular attendance is not necessary - the volunteer is welcome to come as often as they are willing/ able.

    There are some optional weekend and overnight events.

    No matter how little time the volunteer can give, we would love to have them as a part of our team. We are committed to providing flexible opportunities.

Expenses

  • All out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.

  • A DBS check is required

Training

  • Full training and induction will be provided. This is modular and can be shaped dependant on the learning needs of the volunteer.
  • Informal support will be given as needed by the volunteer manager for the role
