What will I be doing?

  • We are currently looking for volunteers to take up a client facing role position based at our office at Waltheof Gardens. The drop in volunteer will help clients accessing the emergency food bags drop in service at Crutch.
  • This will include helping clients filling in the assessment form, handing over emergency food bags and assisting with collecting monitor and evaluation data.
  • This role will suit someone who is passionate about supporting the local community with an interest in food poverty and community work.

What impact will this have?

  • The volunteer will be providing emergency intervention to some of Haringey's most vulnerable residents.
  • Many clients who attend the drop in sessions have no other means of accessing food or support.
  • Many clients who attend the drop in sessions would not normally access support services, so the projects intervention often proves vital.
