Age: Volunteers should be 16 years old and above+

What will I be doing?

  • Assisting with the set up of the hall
  • Assisting with the delivery of each class
  • Supporting participants in each of the classes where needed
  • Assisting with the setting up and clearing up of each session
  • Assisting with the close down of the hall

What impact will this have?

  • Enrich the experiences of young people with a disability
  • Assisting in a programme that has a major impact both socially and physically with a targeted group
  • Be a vital part of the team providing a much enjoyed service in the community

Commitment

  • There are 3 sessions on a Sunday Moring to early afternoon. 10am-10.50am, 11am- 11.50am, 12pm-1pm.
  • Session 1 caters for U10's with more complex needs
    Session 2 caters for U10's
    Session 3 caters for 11-18 years

What else do I need to know?

  • The centre is fully accessible and we would like to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity
  • After expressing an interest we will have an informal interview to determine if you would still like to accept the role and are suitable.
