What will I be doing?

  • The volunteer will be supporting the implementation of a new Crisis Navigation service (remote). This service will initially be supporting Haringey residents, who's financial situation has been impacted by COVID-19.
  • The volunteer will be responsible for maintaining live directories, creating action plans for clients and supporting clients as they navigate their way through crisis.
  • This service is currently under development and volunteers will take a lead in the development stage alongside a project team remotely.
  • Once the service is launched, volunteers will be directly supporting clients. Providing a point of contact, support and a helping hand in navigating through relevant support services.

What impact will this have?

  • Ensuring that vulnerable residents are able to access the correct levels of support in the borough.
  • Developing a brand new service which will complement Citizens Advice Haringey's existing core offer of advice and guidance.
