What impact will this have?

  • Invisible Palace specialises in bringing people from differing backgrounds together through shared interests for collective activity
  • Through this approach local people have participated in the design and re-landscaping of a prominent corner of Crystal Palace Park which has become a new civic space
  • People have come together to celebrate aspects of local heritage through walks, talks, music, performance, circus arts and sport
  • People have worked together to create a heritage leaflet and interpretation board and people continue to meet at the Vicar's Oak to maintain two flowerbeds

What else do I need to know?

  • During the last four years Invisible Palace have completed a number of successful projects and have worked with children and young people, older people and people with learning disabilities. These stories have been shared to limited audiences but there is potential to share these more widely.
  • Invisible Palace has some funding across the next three years for work with young people. As an organisation we would like to make the most of this rare opportunity and build a more sustainable future for the organisation and the people we work with. The Social Media Volunteer would work closely with the Fundraising Trustee to support that work.
  • The Social Media Volunteer would be asked to help Invisible Palace plan and develop its use of Social Media in a way that complements the work of the charity and the supports the work of the trustees and project coordinator
