Organisation aims / mission / values
- Committed to creating a world without dementia
Provide a seamless information, advice and
support service to help steer people through
the maze of health and social care
Help create communities where people
affected by dementia are supported,
accepted and can live the life they choose
Develop and demonstrate pioneering ways
to improve care, develop and enhance
technology solutions and advance
How we deliver these aimsOur investment in the Dementia Research Institute has meant that over a third of the research focuses on care and support for those living with dementia today. We are moving towards a new structure of support, which will bring in volunteers to keep in touch with those we have supported, making sure that they get further support when they need it. Alongside this, our Side by Side service matches people living with dementia and volunteers based on what they love to do. Our Volunteer Representatives, Fundraisers and Dementia Friends Champions are just some of the people leading societal change. Sharing our knowledge with the general public and key parts of the community is leading to a better quality of life for people affected by dementia.
Who benefits from our workPeople affected by dementia. This includes those living with dementia, their carers, family and friends.
