Organisation aims / mission / values
- Established in 1976, we are a successful, vibrant community facility and resource, providing a safe and welcoming meeting place for people living in Kilburn, West Hampstead and beyond.
- The centre exists to improve the quality of life for local people by offering excellent services which provide a range of educational, recreational, cultural and social opportunities.
- In addition, it provides informal advice to users on a wide range of matters and signposts them to the appropriate point for further advice.
- It is a place where people from a wide range of backgrounds come to socialise, learn and enjoy themselves.

How we deliver these aimsWe run projects for older people, families, people facing social isolation or disadvantage or just those who want to be more involved in their local community. These include Community Time Camden, a time and skills sharing project for over 50s; CHAPS, an activity programme for older men; Tech Buddies (IT help for over 60s); Kilburn Good Neighbours (our home befriending scheme); Neighbours2Friends (helping over 50s participate in creative group activities) and our busy Children's Services which includes a low-cost creche and soft play drop-in. We are also open on Saturdays and run a busy community cafe.
Who benefits from our workOur centre is open to people of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances. Some live in our local area but others come from much further afield.
