London Challenge Poverty Week 2019 is from 14-20 October 2019. City Hall research confirms there is a strong link between serious youth violence and Londoners affected by poverty. Below we've gathered volunteering opportunities that you can apply to today and start helping the charities and volunteer groups who are playing a role in reducing poverty in our city. Deputy Mayor for Social Integration, Social Mobility and Community Engagement, Dr Debbie Weekes-Bernard will speak at the Child Poverty Summit on 17 October 2019.
