Girlguiding is the leading charity in the UK for girls and young women.

We help them build confidence and raise their aspiration, giving them the chance to discover their full potential and encouraging them to be a powerful force for good.

We provide a safe space for girls and young women to try new things, from mountain climbing to advocacy. The programme is girl-led.

How we deliver these aims
With weekly unit meetings, and weekends away, we work through an all-encompassing programme that was refreshed in 2019. We've marched through the capital to celebrate the centenary of the Right to Vote for Women, climbed Scafell Pike, and had fun summer camps!
Who benefits from our work
Whilst the girls who are members of our unit benefit most, as they grow in character, the leadership team also grows their skills, and the local community benefits from our voluntary work.
