UEFA EURO 2020

Next summer, London will be one of 12 cities hosting the UEFA European Championship - EURO 2020. London will host seven games at Wembley Stadium, including the semi-finals and final.

The tournament runs from 12 June to 12 July 2020, with the first game in London being held on 14 June.

The event will be a celebration of London’s relationship with Europe and a reminder that #LondonIsOpen. Hosting EURO 2020 gives Londoners a great opportunity to come together and celebrate this exciting event. Londoners will be able to be part of the celebrations through cultural projects, community events and the UEFA EURO 2020 Trophy Tour (full details coming soon).

The Mayor of London UEFA EURO 2020 Grants Programme

As part of Sport Unites, the Mayor’s strategy for sport and social integration, the Mayor of London UEFA EURO 2020 Grants Programme will see up to £525,000 invested into community events and projects around our city – and most importantly, if you’re a Londoner, this money will be open to you. 

Have an idea for an event or project that’ll bring your community together? No matter how big or small, we want to hear your pitch. Applications open until 9am on 20 January 2020.
