Apply for community athletics funding

This summer, London will host the IPC World Para Athletics Championships and IAAF World Championships, set to be the biggest sporting events of 2017.

The Mayor is inviting organisations to apply for a share of £400,000 - to inspire Londoners to try athletics and celebrate the Championships with their local community.

There are three tiers of funding that you may apply for:

  • Tier 1 - Small Grants (up to £4,000) - to run athletics-based activity
  • Tier 2 - Large Grants (up to £20,000) - to use athletics-based activity as a tool to tackle a specific social issue
  • Tier 3 - Disability-focused Grants (up to £10,000) - to run disability-focused athletics-based activity.

View our programme for more details and to see if your organisation is eligible to apply.

Deadline for applications is 18 April.
