Planning Framework

The Lower Lea Valley Opportunity Area Planning Framework was published by the Mayor of London in January 2007 and set out his views on how the Lower Lea Valley as whole should change through the intensification of existing activities, the upgrading of facilities and buildings, and the managed release of industrial land to provide a broader range of land uses. It is available to download below.

Olympic Legacy SPG - Appendix 8

The guidance in Appendix 8 of the Olympic Legacy Supplementary Planning Guidance (OLSPG), published in July 2012, replaces the Lower Lea Valley OAPF where the two areas overlap, as depicted in Figure 7.1 in Appendix 7 of the OLSPG.

A PDF of the section of the OLSPG containing Annexes 7 and 8 is available to download.

Olympic Legacy SPG section 4 and 5

The Mayor's planning priorities for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the surrounding areas are set out in Policy 2.4 of this plan and the OLSPG. This is now being taken forward through a Local Plan prepared by the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).
