Police Misconduct Appeal – Ex DCS Darren Williams

The hearing will be heard part in private to receive medical evidence.
The misconduct panel considered five allegations that DCS Williams had behaved in an inappropriate way towards female colleagues on four occasions and had failed to record a gift received.
The misconduct panel found that the five allegations cumulatively amount to gross misconduct, and made it clear that on its own allegation five would amount to misconduct only.
The panel found that ex DCS Darren Williams breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in particular those paragraphs relating to:
- Authority, Respect and Courtesy - three counts.
- Discreditable Conduct - four counts.
- Orders and Instructions - one count.
Ex DCS Darren Williams was dismissed without notice.
The Appeal was dismissed.
