And the 2016 winner is.....

Aeropowder! A composite made from feather waste. It uses the unique properties of feathers to create insulating materials for housing.

What is it?

The Low Carbon Entrepreneur is a competition run by the Mayor of London and sponsored by Citi Foundation to find fresh new ideas to cut carbon emissions and give students employability skills.

The judging process

Your ideas will be judged by an expert panel that picks the top ten finalists. If you’re lucky enough to make the shortlist you’ll pitch your ideas to our high profile panel in front of a live student audience at City Hall in March 2017. Just think Dragons’ Den for students and you’ll get the picture.
