RE:FIT news and achievements
RE:FIT London are working with Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust on a large scale retrofitting programme to implement an Energy Performance Contract through the RE:FIT framework.
The Trust are working in partnership with Breathe to deliver the guaranteed energy savings of over £1 million per year after the completion of a successful tender competition. Find out more about Breathes involvement here or at www.breatheenergy.com.

RE:FIT London and TfL have been working together for several years to reduce carbon consumption across TfL's estates portfolio. In this time the programme has expanded to included 22 buildings retrofitted with energy conservation measures, in particular their headquarters at Palestra House.
TfL partnered with E.ON to implement significant energy improvements at Palestra House, guaranteed to reduce carbon emission by 8% per annum. Read more about how E.ON exceeded their guarantees at www.betterbuildingspartnership.co.uk.

Since RE:FIT's establishment in 2009, RE:FIT London has been an integral part of the Mayor's Energy for Londoners programme. In this time RE:FIT London has become an award-wining programme used to help London's public buildings and assets improve their energy efficiency. With proven results across a range of organisations RE:FIT is now a leading programme helping the public sector not only reduce carbon emission but also providing large guaranteed energy savings. Hounslow Schools - Energy Efficient Partnership Awards 2018
London Borough of Hounslow has won the Energy Efficient Partnership Award at Energy Awards for their RE:FIT schools programme assisted by Larkfleet group who delivered the borough’s award winning scheme. The same programme was also shortlisted for the Community Initiative Award at the Energy Institute Awards.
London Borough of Hounslow has so far installed energy conservation measures across 11 schools, reducing energy use by 1,200,000 kWh per year saving over £150,000 off their energy bill every year and reduced carbon emissions by 303 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year so far - equivalent to the annual carbon emission of 80 averaged-sized homes.
Both awards showcase organisations, projects and individuals for achieving excellence in the energy sector from around the world. The judges were particularly impressed with Hounslow’s high-level of commitment, innovation and potential that was demonstrated by the project.

Transport for London (TfL) – CIBSE Building Performance Awards 2019
Transport for London (TfL) received four nominations at the CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) building performance awards, winning the award for Facilities Management team for works across their estates portfolio in particular the completed works at Palaestra House.
The work at Palaestra House have seen a spend of circa £1.5 million resulting in significant financial savings of £440,000 per annum.
The awards focus on recognising the measurable performances from organisations, products and projects that demonstrate engineering excellence across the building industry. TfL were recognised for their exemplary efforts to deliver outstanding building performance across a portfolio of assets.

RE:FIT London - Ashden Awards 2016
RE:FIT London were the wining organisation of the Ashden Award for sustainable buildings 2016.
The Ashden Awards identify sustainable energy pioneers with exciting solutions and innovations in sustainability. RE:FIT London were recognised by the judging panel for our efforts to improve energy efficiency across the public sector estates portfolio.
The GLA’s RE:FIT work is an inspiring example of how to retrofit public sector buildings. The framework and competitive tendering model represents an important innovation on a major scale.
