Public Sector Energy Event

The RE:FIT London team presented a stand at the Public Sector Energy Event. With the opportunity to engage over thirty public sector energy professional organisations exhibiting, it was a great opportunity for those in attendance to gain invaluable advice from industry experts that could prove to be significant for their business.

Low Carbon Projects for Higher Education

RE:FIT London attended an event hosted by Amber Infrastructure Group. A roundtable discussion on financing, procuring and delivering low carbon measures across an estate. Roehampton University delivered a presentation on their experience delivering a low carbon building redevelopment.

RE:FIT London hosted the NHS Confederation - Sustainable Health and Care event. The NHS Confederation is the only membership body that brings together and speaks on behalf of all organisations that plan, commission and provide NHS services.

Association of University Directors of Estates (AUDE) Annual Conference 2018

9-10 April 2018, University of Kent 

The RE:FIT team participated in this year's AUDE Annual Conference in Kent. AUDE promotes excellence in the strategic planning, management, operation and development of Higher Education estates and facilities. AUDE offers membership to publicly funded UK bodies whose primary remit is higher education teaching and/or research.

Measurement & Verification (M&V) Practical Workshop for The Public Sector

RE:FIT London, GEP Environmental and London Energy Project conducted an M&V workshop for London's Public Sector. M&V is a best practice approach that lets you quantify whether you have realised benefits from energy conservation and/or energy efficiency investments and to ensure you can put forward business cases that are likely to increase your decision makers’ appetite to invest in energy and water efficiency, demand management and renewable energy projects.

Government Property Conference

RE:FIT London spoke at the Government Property 2018 conference which featured senior figures from a range of government departments, local authorities and the wider public sector. Delegates benefited from a closer understanding of government's estate strategy and learned more about the funding options available which affected the future of publicly owned and managed land and property.

London Environment Directors' Network (LEDNet)

London Environment Directors' Network (LEDNet) consisting of 29 London Boroughs, was hosted and presented to y RE:FIT London with the London Plan and Saving Energy Costs theme.

EMEX – The Energy Management Exhibition

RE:FIT London attended EMEX, an annual event which establishes and builds partnerships between business, third party intermediaries, training suppliers, government and public bodies to accelerate the adoption and the implementation of energy efficiency measures in order to reduce energy use and carbon emissions.

Roundtable on Finance For Energy Efficiency

Chris Spicer presented RE:FIT London as a way of making energy efficiency attractive for the financial sector during a roundtable on Finance For Energy Efficiency in Copenhagen. The objective of the roundtable is to identify common objectives and potential improvements to be made in the policy framework within Denmark.

RE:FIT team  conducted a workshop for London Public Sector organisation focusing on how to implement energy measures faster to reduce CO2 emissions and energy bills. 

Skill for Londoners Capital Fund workshop

Sylvia Baron presented RE:FIT London at Skill for Londoners Capital Fund  workshop to Higher Education intuitions in London. Mrs Baron identified ways RE:FIT London can guarantee the reduction of their CO2 and energy cost.

Building Europe (ESCO congress)

RE:FIT London will be presenting their programme at Building Europe in Amsterdam. The event provides a forum for potential partners – both visitors and exhibitors to discuss Dutch and European construction opportunities, energy efficiency and recycling.

Association of Colleges – Finance Director’s Network

The network brings together Finance Directors to get and update from SFA and EFA, share knowledge and discuss topical issues linked to finance issues in the sector. RE:FIT demonstrated how energy bills and carbon emission can be reduced for College buildings.

Carbon Trust Public Sector conference

The conference enabled attendees to discuss ideas, share best practice and learn about how different public bodies and cities are reducing their carbon, water and waste emissions and leading the response to climate change. RE:FIT was presented on in one of the master class sessions.
