Whitefriars School
Outstanding next step teaching and learning. Values-based education
What problems were in your school and how did you identify them?
The challenge of enabling children with many different starting points to engage fully with the curriculum and accelerate their learning.
What actions did you take?
Firstly, we love the children and put them and their learning at the heart of everything. Secondly, we have created an active and exciting curriculum that ensures all pupils really enjoy the learning experience. The secret of our success is continuous, forensic assessment that informs pacey next steps teaching and learning, underpinned by strong values and positive feedback for all learners.
What were the outcomes?
