Children entering with very low communication and language in nursery and reception

  • Careful monitoring of children and constant conversations with teaching staff
  • Showing children the local and wider environment
  • Working with parents to help increase their confidence
  • Motivating pupils to want to achieve

What were the outcomes?

Children made excellent progress from reception baseline to end of KS2 results.
