- Improved self-evaluation through rigorous monitoring, intensive pupil progress reviews and moderation
- Targeted support for underachieving children in class and through interventions
- Focus on creating outstanding early years provision
- Focus on ensuring outstanding inclusive practice
- Development of a learning culture for staff, with professional development given a high priority
- Shared vision developed through Eco Schools, UN Rights Respecting School Award, Rainbow Values
- High expectations for every child at the core of all actions
- Ensured pupils with SEND receive the best
- Developed pupil voice through creating student groups, active participation in their learning and consultation of views
- Creative focus on parental involvement – open lessons, focused meetings, Parent Champions, Families Connects, Everyone Reads, workshops
