Mayor of London's Christmas Card Competition 2018
Every year, London schoolchildren are invited to take part in the Mayor of London's Christmas card competition.
This year we received over 1,000 entries from schools across London. We were very impressed with the standard of entries and the creativity of young Londoners. It made it very hard to pick a winner.
We're now pleased to announce that this year's competition winner is Diza D'Silva, 13, from St Gregory's Catholic Science College. A card featuring her winning design has been sent to dignitaries across the world, including the Queen!
Diza's prize included a personal Christmas card signed by the Mayor and a £100 gift voucher from Cass Art, the UK's leading art supplies retailer.
You can see the winning design below and in our Flickr gallery with all shortlisted entries.
Thanks to Cass Art for supporting our competition. If you'd like to find out how Cass Art could support creativity in your school, please email [email protected]
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
