Cities have an important role to play in making food better for everyone. We want to ensure that every single Londoner can eat well and has a healthy diet.

The Capital of Food report highlights the work that’s been done to improve food in London by the London Food Board, its partners and  the Mayor of London’s food team.

It features contributions from a range of food experts including Jamie Oliver, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Raymond Blanc.

The report illustrates food’s importance to London’s economy, its people and communities, and the environment. It also outlines some of the challenges London will face around food in the future, as the city continues to grow.
